This expansive resort offers its own private beach and marina, and
is located in Mission Bay Aquatic Park, only blocks from the Pacific
Ocean, approximately seven miles from San Diego International
Airport, and eight miles from downtown San Diego. Sea World is only
two miles away, La Jolla is about six miles, and the San Diego Zoo
is about nine miles.
Guests may enjoy the outdoor heated
pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, gift shop, video arcade, and two
lighted tennis courts. Sports equipment such as in-line skates,
bicycles, wetsuits, boogie boards, rafts, paddleboats, kayaks,
powerboats, and wave runners are available for rental. Dining is
available onsite at the Bahia Caf??, which provides indoor and
open-air seating. For drinks, guests may patron the Tangier Bar,
which offers live piano music, or set sail on the hotel's
complimentary cocktail cruise, the Bahia Belle, featuring dancing,
DJ's, and live music. Hotel amenities include business center, free
parking, room service, safe deposit box, 24-hour front desk and
