Once the headmasters house for Northfield Seminary, the Centennial
House welcomes students and parents of Northfield Mt Hermon, Linden
Hill, Deerfield Academy, Stoneleigh Burnham, and other area schools
and colleges, as well as travelers to New England from around the
world. Northfield, with its panoramic views and Connecticut River
access, offers outdoor activities year round. Cultural and historic
attractions include Historic Deerfield, a butterfly conservatory,
and the museums of the Five Colleges. One can shop at the huge
Yankee Candle flagship store, the towns of Greenfield, Shelburne
Falls, Brattleboro, Keene, and the famous shopping outlets of
Manchester, Vermont.
The Centennial House is a large 17 room colonial estate built on 2.5
scenic acres by renowned craftsmen in 1811. This property is perfect
