world-renowned Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is located on Kauna'oa Bay,
considered by many to be Hawaii's most picture perfect beach. A vast
collection of Asian and Pacific art graces the walls and lush
tropical grounds of the property. <br><br>Water sports
and activities include snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking,
catamaran riding, whale watching and deep-sea fishing. At night,
guests step onto a circular lava outcropping overlooking the Bay to
watch the manta rays swim beneath.<br><br>Designed by
Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Mauna Kea Golf course is home to 18
holes and panoramic ocean vistas over 60 landscaped
acres.<br><br>Guests are given complimentary admission
to fitness centers at both the Mauna Kea and the Hapuna Beach. There
is also a kids program for children of all
ages.<br><br>All guest rooms feature private lanais
(balconies)and have open-air designs with natural wood and ceiling
fans. Amenities include refrigerators, two Japanese yukatas (robes),
two pairs of indoor slippers, bath amenities, high-speed access for
a fee and a television. <br><br>Special touches of
Hawaiin hospitality include a lei upon arrival, a welcome fruit
bowl, in-room mini chill box with bottled water replenished daily,
